By installing, accessing, or using SnapFrame, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.

2. Description of Service

SnapFrame is a browser extension that allows you to capture screenshots and transform them into polished mockups with various frames, backgrounds, and styling options. The service includes:

• Screenshot capture from browser tabs
• Image import and editing
• Frame and background customization
• Export to PNG and clipboard
• Optional Pro features (when available)
• Optional anonymous analytics (opt-in only)

3. Privacy & Analytics

Your privacy is important to us. SnapFrame processes all screenshots locally on your device — we never see or store your images.

You may optionally enable anonymous usage analytics to help us improve SnapFrame. This feature is disabled by default and can be toggled in the extension settings. Analytics are processed by PostHog and contain no personal information or screenshots.

4. Free vs. Pro License

Free Version

The free version of SnapFrame includes all core features with a small watermark on exported images. You may use the free version for personal and commercial purposes.

Pro License

When Pro features become available:

• License Type: One-time purchase, lifetime access
• Device Limit: Use on up to 3 personal devices
• Non-Transferable: Licenses cannot be resold or transferred
• Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension
• Remove or modify any copyright notices or branding
• Use the extension to create illegal or harmful content
• Share Pro license keys publicly or with unauthorized users
• Automate the extension in ways that abuse our services

6. Intellectual Property

SnapFrame, including its code, design, frame templates, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

• Your Content: You retain full ownership of screenshots and images you create or import
• Output: Mockups you create are yours to use however you wish
• Our Assets: Frame designs and UI elements remain our property

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SnapFrame is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all browsers or systems
• Accuracy or reliability of results

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or content
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Business interruption
• Any damages arising from your use of the extension

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro license (if any), or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to SnapFrame at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

You may stop using SnapFrame at any time by uninstalling the extension. Pro license refunds are available within 14 days of purchase.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, through the extension or website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through appropriate legal channels if necessary.
